| Content | After coming back from Europe, his laboratory was very chaotic, because his assistant left. He describes that the trip via the Atlantic was very stormy and that they had a delay of 2 days. His stepson Hans had a surgery and is now recovering. He writes that the doctors were not the best and made many misdiagnoses, and that the medical costs are very high. Hess currently lives in a boarding house. He writes that he is ill with the flu or cold and was staying in bed during Christmas. He writes that he sent Meyer Science Abstracts and copies of his last publication and that the Belgian Radium company made a contract with the American ones. Hess writes he has heard Meyer is also a consultant for the Belgian Radium Company. |
