| Content | Hess informs Meyer about the goods he is about to send him. He also offers him to send special glasses for near- and farsightedness, that he can order. He tells him that the economic situation in Vienna worries him. He also reports about academic work he is doing and some publications as well as a speech about radioluminescence he was holding. He writes Meyer about his wife’s health and what he heard about his colleagues from Vienna. He asks Meyer about the cigarette prices and asks about other colleagues. He writes that he like the weather here and that he visits Pegram in New York regularly, and that Pupin told him about the situation in Europe. |
