| Content | Hess thanks Meyer for his vacation extension and writes that he sends Physical Review regularly to Vienna and Graz. He tells Meyer that he will talk at a meeting at the Columbia University about “Verbesserung der γ-Strahlenmethode für schwachprozentige RaBa-Salze”. His stepson Hans is engaged, and Hess likes his family. Hans is currently in Pittsburgh, which is a far distance away from his fiancée. Hess writes that the winter was long, and he is thankful that he didn’t catch the flu. He asks if Meyer received his slide rules and tells him about medical radiologists who don’t understand much about radiation. |
