Content	Hess writes that D. (Dieuaide) contacted him and wanted to visit him. However, he decided to visit D. instead to discuss whether he would accept the position in Beijing. Hess did not give a definitive answer, however. He decided that he would only accept the position if he did not have to give up his current position completely.
