Content<\/strong><\/td>Hess complains about not receiving any news from Graz and Vienna. He asks Meyer to contact Benndorf about his leave of absence, as he wants to stay in USA this winter. Hess is surprised that Germans are favoured for professorships in Austria and considers Scholl’s appointment a mistake. Hess doesn’t think Mrs Curie is as good as everyone believes. Hess reports that he was guest of honour at the American Radium Society in Boston.<\/td><\/tr>
